Master Bedroom Reveal: Black, White and Bright All Over

When dreaming about how to decorate my bedroom I knew I wanted a black and white color scheme that's still light and airy, a touch of Hollywood Regency, a bit modern, and feminine enough for me without scaring my husband. It sounds crazy, but I think I did it!



The best part is that I did it super cheap even though almost everything is new except the lamps, the headboard, and a few accessories. If you remember in this post, I showed you how I recovered the headboard.

Here's a closer look at the Ikea Malm furniture we bought. Since I discovered Overlays to customize Ikea furniture, I'm not sure they will stay like this long!










I love how the new floors contrast with all the white.




This chevron tray is great for holding all the little things that accumulate on your dresser. The little bowl from Anthropologie is perfect for every day jewelry.




I'm so happy with the way everything turned out and it only took me about six weeks to complete. I'm a slow DIY-er, so that's amazing for me!
