I pinned this picture initially for the mouldings and was surprised to read that the rug is from Ikea and the bedding is from Target. I do recognize both items, but I didn't make the connection because this room looks so high-end.

I think one of the best DIY furniture makeovers involves the Ikea Rast. It's amazing how so many people can take the same furniture piece and make it their own.
I absolutely love how it's been made into a pink campaign dresser in this photo. It's such a great mix of elegance and fun.

A unique design with nailheads and a marble top

I love this hardware and how only the drawers are painted. There's something so elegant about this one that really draws me in. I do love black and white.

And covered with fabric

Can you believe it's the same dresser in each picture? I bought two over the weekend and I'm going to use them as nightstands. At $69.99 each for the white I don't think there's a better deal. I'm torn between the campaign look and painting only the drawers.
Mouldings are relatively inexpensive and have such an impact.
White is always classic.

But, I love the gray.

I will admit that I am picky about my bedding, especially sheets. That's one place I will not skimp on quality. Nice duvets covers are usually relatively affordable, but three euro shams can cost as much or more than the cover. One way to avoid the high cost is to mix in affordable throw pillows in lieu of matching euros.

It also gives your bedding a great custom look.
I'm still in the planning stages of my master bedroom and I can't wait to share the details with you as I make decisions. So much fun!
I'm really excite for you!! I love that Ikea rug but always had trouble finding it in stick. I got a similar one for my family room, but had to spend a lot more. I hope you have better luck if you decide to use it! LOVE the Ikea hack dressers, too - you could do a great one I'm sure :)

That's interesting you say that about the rug. I went to Ikea over the weekend and they were sold out of it, too. I can't wait to get my hands on the rast nightstands and dresser. My husband is in shock that I'm planning to "mess them up" and wants me to only put knobs on them, lol.
