Holiday Home Tour 2012

I'm all decorated for Christmas! I love that the small changes I made this year make such a big impact. On the mantel I added mercury glass candlesticks and the new "PEACE" stocking holders. I don't usually like words spelled out on signs or walls, but I'm partial to these.

A closer look at the tree. I used three types of ribbon this year.

And some Christmas cheer in the kitchen...

Ugh. This seemed like a good idea at the time, but guess who ate half of these already?

I can't wait to work on my Christmas tablescape, but this simple arrangement is great for every day.

  2. I love the way you ran the ribbon through the tree (instead of around in circles)... it adds so much whimsy!!

    1. Thank you. Check out my ribbon tutorial post. I wrote about how I rifled through a mall tree this year to figure out how they get the ribbon so perfect. All in the name of research. ;)

  3. So pretty! And I totally can relate to keeping candy out in those pretty glass vases- it disappears so fast! Thanks for linking up! Have a great Christmas!
